DGems:Daily Gospel Reflections 7.3

DGEMS (Daily Gospel eMessages) are a collection of Daily Gospel Reflections that have been available since April 2001. The purpose of these reflections is to help individuals connect with God in their everyday lives. They offer guidance, inspiration, affirmation, empowerment, and renewed hope amidst life's challenges and joys.

The app features the Gospel passage for the day, following the Catholic liturgical calendar, along with a concise reflection written by Msgr Philip Heng, S.J. This initiative is brought to you by the Jesuit Prayer Ministry.

The reflections are kept brief, consisting of only 4-5 sentences. This makes them ideal for busy individuals who navigate a fast-paced environment.

If desired, the app can provide daily reminders to reflect on the Gospel and its teachings.

Additionally, users have the option to adjust the font size to their personal preference through the app's settings screen or by using the pinch gesture on their device.

About Msgr Philip Heng, S.J.

Msgr Philip Heng, SJ currently serves as the Parish Priest of St Ignatius Church in Singapore, which is under the Jesuit administration. Furthermore, he holds the position of Vicar General for Archbishop William Goh in areas such as Administration, Finance, Religious Matters, Ecumenism, and Interreligious Relations.
